
Marquette, MI – June 14, 2021 – The Marquette City Commission has a regular meeting this evening.
This will be the first official Commission meeting with new City Manager Karen Kovacs, and will the first meeting with the public allowed for in-person attendance since the coronavirus pandemic began.
Kovacs said the Commission will be holding a public hearing on the proposed rezoning of a property located at 616 Fisher Street.
She also talked about the Commission considering a resolution opposing proposed state legislation prohibiting local communities from regulating homeowners wishing to convert their properties into short-term vacation rentals.
The Meeting is at 6:00pm at Commission Chambers at Marquette City Hall. Non-vaccinated attendees must wear a face mask.
