Marquette, MI – May 27, 2021 – Home building and residential construction have faced some unique challenges over the last 15 months during the coronavirus pandemic.
Pesola said the pandemic has created a current environment of higher material costs and shipping delays, but he is finding clients that are still intent on moving ahead with projects.
He added that the current boom in the existing home market has resulted in prices for those homes that makes building a new home to custom specifications a realistic possibility for many families.
Pesola said while prices for materials are beginning to trend downward, anyone thinking of a new home build or a residential renovation should still budget for higher costs than expected and be patient as the supply chain is just beginning to recover from the pandemic.
