Marquette, MI – May 20, 2021 – Joe Boogren of Gwinn announced his candidacy this week as a Democrat running for the 109th District State House of Representatives.
Boogren, 60, has a lengthy history in military service in the U.S. Navy and has served on the Gwinn Community Schools Board of Education. He is currently the Forsyth Township Supervisor.
Boogren spoke about some of his key campaign issues and more today with Mark & Walt in the Morning.
The seat is is currently held by Democrat Sara Cambensy of Marquette, who is term limited out.
