Negaunee Public Schools Superintendent Dan Skewis Shares District COVID Update

Marquette, MI – April 27, 2021 – Negaunee Public Schools Superintendent Dan Skewis joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today with an update on COVID-19 cases in the district.

Skewis spoke about the current cases, which have remained low and isolated, and how the district is handling them.

He said that as eligible students get the coronavirus vaccine, the need for quarantine through contact tracing will continue to decrease.

Skewis added that there are about six weeks left in the current school year, and it appears they will be able to make it through fairly uneventfully to graduation.
