Governor Whitmer Calls For Voluntary 2-Week Roll Back Of In-Person Activities

Marquette, MI – April 9, 2021 – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is calling on residents to voluntarily roll back in-person activities for two weeks in an effort the slow the growing numbers of COVID-19 cases in Michigan.

Whitmer spoke at a press conference today in Lansing about having Michiganders suspend in-person activities for high schools, indoor dining, and youth sports for two weeks.

Whitmer emphasized the slow downs are not mandated, but strongly suggested.
