Marquette, MI – April 7, 2021 – Northern Michigan University will host a virtual spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., eastern time.
Hall said over 950 graduates will be honored virtually at the ceremony, which will be broadcast via the internet and on WNMU-TV13 from the NMU Superior Dome on campus.
He added that Bryan Terrell Clark, the Broadway star who played George Washington in the smash “Hamilton”, will be the commencement speaker.
Hall said the university will make the May 2021 virtual ceremony as much like our usual in-person events as possible and will feature the reading of the names of each NMU graduate, accompanied by a photo.
