Women’s Center Hosting Sexual Assault Awareness Month Events In Marquette And Ishpeming

Marquette, MI – March 31, 2021 – The Women’s Center is raising awareness of sexual assault victims and survivors by placing teal ribbons around our community this week.

Beth Casady, Women’s Center Executive Director, spoke about the significance of the ribbons that they will be hanging in Marquette and Ishpeming on Thursday, April 1st with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Casady also talked about the services the Women’s Center can provide for people who have been sexually assaulted and how people can receive them
