Marquette, MI – March 18, 2021 – The Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs is offering a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for veterans, their spouses and caregivers this coming Monday in Marquette.
Adams explained that all recipients must be 50 or older, and the clinic runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Northern Michigan University’s Northern Center.
She said that the vaccines will be available free of charge for veterans who register in advance by calling 1-800-MICH-VET.
Registration is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Registrants should bring a picture ID. Veterans are also encouraged to bring their DD-214, as representatives will be on hand to help them sign up for VA health care and other benefits.
The clinic is a partnership between the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency and the Michigan National Guard.
