
Marquette, MI – February 8, 2021 – The National Weather service in Negaunee Township has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for the central U.P. until 1:00 p.m. today. Very cold temperatures and wind chills as low as 25 below zero are happening across portions of central and western Upper Michigan. The Weather service says low wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.
As a result, several area school districts are closed this morning. Here is the list of closings we have at this time:
