Marquette, MI – February 3, 2021 – Organizers say Winter Carnival at Michigan Tech in Houghton is on for this year, but it’s going to look a bit different.
Sviland said the Carnival takes place this Wednesday through Saturday. Some of the usual activities have been canceled and others have been adjusted due to COVID-19, but the tradition of large snow sculptures is continuing.
He added all statues are located near sidewalks, so viewers will be able to follow social distancing protocols.
