
Marquette, MI – January 22, 2020 – Restaurants and bars in Michigan will be allowed to reopen for indoor service at 25% capacity beginning February 1st under a new coronavirus epidemic order from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services.
The plan has a series of restrictions concerning the spacing of tables and the number of people allowed at each of those tables.
Under the order, bars and restaurants must close by 10 p.m., and outdoor tents with four sides will be permitted. Additionally, contact information must be collected from patrons for contact tracing.
Concessions can also resume at casinos, movie theaters and stadiums under the order, which is in effect through February 21st.
