Marquette, MI – January 13, 2020 – Efforts to clean out debris and shore up the walls at the Vista Theater in Negaunee after a late summer roof collapse are progressing well.

Bowers said that the work to shore up the walls and protect the remaining portions of the historic theater, such as the stage and proscenium, should be wrapped up this week, just in time as forecasted winter weather arrives.

He added that there is still a need to raise more funds to fully restore the theater and replace the roof, and you can find out more at the Vista Theater website and their Facebook page.
