TV6 Virtual Canathon Sets Records To Help Feed A Hungry Neighbor

Marquette, MI – December 17, 2020 – Organizers of the TV6 Canathon say this year’s event and was a big success.

Canathon Director Scott Zerbel joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the campaign going virtual this year due to the pandemic and raising just under $152,000.

Zerbel said the financial donations came from area residents and were earmarked for food banks around the U.P.

He said that combined with a similar drive in the spring that raised $85,000, the effort has raised over $236,000 this year to Help Feed A Hungry Neighbor.
