Salvation Army Continuing With Holiday Efforts Through The Pandemic

Marquette, MI – December 11, 2020 – Captain Doug Winters with the Marquette County Salvation Army stopped in today to share an update about their holiday efforts with Mark & Walt in the Morning.

Winters spoke about the traditional Red Kettle Drive as well as some of the changes to what they are doing due to the pandemic.

A challenge was launched as well between Mark & Walt to see who can raise the most money by heading out to ring the bell for the kettles.

On Thursday, December 17th Mark will be stationed as the bellringer at the Super One Foods store in Negaunee while Walt will be doing the same at the Super One Foods location in Marquette from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
