Marquette, MI – December 3, 2020 – Tara Laase-McKinney with the Marquette Downtown Development Authority joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today with more about the DDA’s Light Up Downtown Marquette event this evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Laase-McKinney with more about tonight’s holiday events in Downtown Marquette.
Laase-McKinney explained that the activities include a drive-by visit with Santa and a new decorating contest for downtown businesses.
She added that those wishing to greet Santa will be able to drive past the Marquette Commons and the City Tree during that time.
Laase-McKinney said staff from the Marquette Post Office will also be on hand to collect letters to Santa.
