Marquette, MI – December 2, 2020 – Northern Michigan University President Fritz Erickson joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today for Wildcat Wednesday to recap the Fall 2020 semester and look at the plans for Winter 2021 at the university.

Erickson recapped the Fall 2020 semester and the challenges presented by COVID-19 and how NMU addressed them through testing, implementation of safety measures such as PPP, plexiglass shielding and effective execution of the university’s management plan by faculty, staff and students.
He also talked about plans for a virtual graduation ceremony that is being held this weekend online to celebrate this year’s graduates from NMU.
Erickson also touched on the current situation with Wildcat athletics and how things are looking for organized sports such as hockey and basketball.
