Marquette, MI – December 1, 2020 – Janey Joffee, Director of Population Health with Upper Peninsula Health Plan, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about the holiday season and managing COVID-19.
Joffee shared some tips to stay safe and help stop the spread of the virus by following guidance set forth by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the CDC, and many more professional health organizations.
She talked about what is the safest way individuals can celebrate this holiday season and what are some considerations people should make when setting their holiday plans.
Joffee also included other things can people do to stay healthy this holiday season, whether they plan to gather or not.
She wrapped up with saying the pandemic has been stressful and isolating for many people and we all want to see family and friends, but we must remain vigilant to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The sacrifices made now will help to keep our communities healthy, reduce the burden on our hospitals, and return to normal as soon as possible.
