Marquette, MI – November 30, 2020 – Former Upper Michigan lawmaker Tom Casperson died Sunday at the age of 61 after a two-and-a-half year battle with lung cancer.
The Escanaba Republican served in the State House representing the 108th District and as State Senator representing the 38th District, which covers most of Upper Michigan.
Casperson’s successor, Senator Ed McBroom of Dickinson County, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to share his thoughts on Casperson’s passing and look back on Casperson’s impact on Upper Michigan politics.
