Marquette, MI – November 11, 2020 – An effort to get correspondence and gifts to out active National Guardsmen and Women and our veterans is underway, and today, organizer Anna Dravland joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about it.
Dravland said she has organized a month-long project encouraging letters, cards and care packages to our military members and veterans.
She added that the effort is focused on vets and active National Guard troops in the Upper Peninsula in celebration of the GivingTuesday Military edition being held on December 1st.
Dravland said she is calling on all area people to engage with the project and help uplift our local military.
