Marquette, MI – November 4, 2020 – 109th District State Representative Sara Cambensy joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about her successful re-election bid and the work ahead in Lansing.
Cambensy, an incumbent Democrat, talked about her win in Tuesday’s election that is sending her back to Lansing for her third, and final, two-year term in the State House.
She also talked about key legislation that will be addressed in the “lame duck” session currently underway at the Capitol as well as what she expects to see on the legislative docket in the upcoming session in the new year.
Cambensy wrapped up the conversation with some thoughts on the state and national Democratic party leadership’s overlooking of rural voters during this past campaign and how that needs to change in order to keep Democrats in office.
