Marquette, MI – November 4, 2020 – On our latest Wildcat Wednesday, Northern Michigan University Registrar Kim Rotundo joined Mark & Walt in the Morning to talk about the end of the current fall semester.
Rotundo said that the semester is ending early this year due ongoing concern with the coronavirus pandemic. She explained the reasons why it will be ending just before Thanksgiving this year.
She also shared some information about plans for a Virtual Commencement that will honor a total of 1650 graduates that will not have an actual face-to-face commencement due to COVID-19.
Rotundo said the event will be held online at 3:00 pm eastern on Sunday, December 6th, and will features comments from University officials and a student speaker.
