Marquette, MI – October 28, 2020 – Marquette Police Chief Blake Rieboldt joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the Winter Parking Ban that is going into effect this weekend in the city.
Rieboldt explained that the ban will begin on November 1st and will be in effect until April 1st. Under the ban, no parking is allowed on any city street between 1:00 am and 6:00 am. The ban carries a fine of $75.00 and a vehicle could be towed if blocks snow removal.
He also shared some information concerning trick-or-treating hours in Marquette and other Halloween safety tips for the weekend.
