Marquette, MI – October 23, 2020 – 109th District State Representative Sara Cambensy of Marquette stopped in this morning for a legislative update on Mark & Walt in the Morning.
Cambensy, a Democrat, shared her thoughts and concerns about a legislative plan put forth this week by House Republican lawmakers to allow county-level data to drive COVID-19 decisions.
The legislation allows for data-driven COVID-19 responses that reflect conditions in local communities.
She also talked about what may happen legislatively in Lansing after the upcoming elections when lawmakers return to the Capitol and enter into a so-called “lame duck” session.
