Marquette, MI – October 21, 2020 – The Northern Michigan University Presidential Scholars Competition is underway this year in a strictly virtual format, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kari Garcia, Senior Associate Director of Admissions at NMU, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to talk about the competition.
Garcia explained that it is designed for high school seniors to compete for 10 full-ride and 10 full-tuition scholarships, adding that there will also be approximately 200 additional scholarships will be awarded to participants.
Garcia said that the fall 2020 competition will be modified to an engaging virtual format to best serve high school seniors in a safe and healthy manner, and that registration for the scholarship competition is now open.
