Nate Denofre From Courage Incorporated Talks About Their Nonprofit Work For Disabled Veterans

Marquette, MI – March 8th, 2020 – Courage Incorporated was founded in 2015, “by accident”, CEO Nate Denofre says.  Nate grew up in Ishpeming, Michigan and has always loved the great outdoors and the healing properties that come with it.  His friend Erik Conradson, now the Executive Director at Courage Inc, started a Gofundme page to help raise money for his expedition.

Instead of using the money raised, Nate decided to pay it forward.  Being a double amputee, Nate spent 159 nights in the woods.  Word of his expedition started in the Mining Journal and went coast-to-coast.  He walked from Silver Lake Basin in Ishpeming

and hiked and canoed with his dog.  The main goal of Courage Inc. is to help disabled veterans and adults to go camping, fishing, hiking, anything to thought they wouldn’t be able to do anymore.

It is completely free to become a client with them.  They will never charge a client to join them, and they’ll always have everything set up for them.  If a client needs help on a trip or expedition, they will provide that help, or if a client wants to be independent, they will support that client too.

Courage Inc. was selected as the Charity of Choice at the UP Builder’s Show this year, and they got a booth to be able to advertise the work they do.
