Travis Ryan of the NORTHIRON Church Talks About Expansion on The 8th Day

Marquette, MI – February 16, 2020 – Travis Ryan, the assistant pastor at NORTHIRON Church, called into the 8th Day.  Travis actually used to work for Great Lakes Radio, before it became mediaBrew Communications, in the I.T. Department.  Travis talks about the church’s mission and work they are doing to expand throughout the U.P!

They began expanding their message outside of their main campus in July of 2018 when they began giving services at Northstar Academy in Marquette.  Their size has grown so much that they are now renovating the building that was JCPenney’s next to the Westwood Mall to accomodate for their growing size.  They also started a church campus at Reid Funeral Services in L’Anse in January of this year!

NORTHIRON has a unique approach to their regular services.  They work to make the whole experience enjoyable and not overwhelming for anyone who is just joining or has had a bad experience with going to church in the past.

They not only work to make the experience of going to church enjoyable, but they also work to meet the needs of the community, whether they are members of the church of not.  The church started a program called Bed Head, to provide beds to local children who don’t already have one of their own.  If you know of any child is this situation, please email the church with information at info@northiron.church.
