The Pigs N Heat Charity Hockey Game raises money every year to help people and families in need who have experienced loss due to a fire.  They help people get back on their feet by providing funds for housing, groceries and other essential items.

Jeff Haile, who is also the Vice President of the event, talks about how easy it is to take part in this great cause.  Tickets to the event are only $1, and that includes admission as well as entry to grand and door prizes.  Tickets are available at the Marquette City Fire Department Station #1, located at 418 S. Third St., the Marquette City Police Department located at 300 W. Baraga Ave. and most local police and fire departments.

The game is on March 11th and the puck drops at 6:45 pm at the Lakeview Arena in Marquette. Not only are you helping a great cause within the community, you can also take this as an opportunity to watch some cops and firemen try to be hockey players for a night.  Check out the Pigs N Heat website or find their Facebook page here.
