
Marquette, Michigan – July 13, 2019 – Janis Peterson talked with 8th Day Radio Show host Todd Pazz about the Marquette Symphony Orchestra Summer Strings Free Children’s Concert July 10th. The Marquette Symphony Orchestra Summer Strings performed a children’s concert on Wednesday, July 10 at 6:00 pm in the Peter White Public Library Community Room. The performance, in partnership with the library’s youth services department, was sponsored by Marquette Breakfast Rotary.

Selections included Carnival of the Animals, Over the Rainbow, Let it Go, Spring and Theme from Spiderman. Jim Edwards from the U.P. Children’s Museum will join the MSO as a guest narrator.
All MSO Summer Strings performances are free of charge and feature members of the Marquette Symphony Orchestra strings section. All ages are welcome.
The MSO Summer Strings will also perform Wednesday, July 24 at 6:00 pm at Ore Dock Brewing Company.
