ISHPEMING, Mich. – (WKQS) – Todd Pazz spoke with Judy Conrad about an upcoming program entitled “History of the Ojibwa Peoples” that will be presented on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. in the Leverton Community Room of the Carnegie Public Library. Cousins Judy Conrad, Danny Garceau, and Jeff Carlson will be discussing their Ojibwa heritage with the aid of a number of artifacts from their collections. The public is invited to this free event; light refreshments will be served by the Friends of the Library.
The Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Library “are active in fundraising and present many special programs of cultural interest. We welcome you to join us! The group meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:00pm March-June and September-December in the Ray Leverton Community Room.”
