Farewell Nancy – Welcome Abbie

Marquette, Michigan – After many years at Great Lakes Radio, doing jobs from writing, to shopping show, to front desk and contest coordination, Nancy is leaving. Nancy has trained in Abbie, so we now look forward to years with her. This was Abbie’s first time on the 8thday, but it was one of countless appearances by Nancy.

Great Lakes Radio staff members gathered in the conference room today for our second send-off party in the last few months. Celebrating our time with Nancy McHardy, we wished her farewell as she took the next step toward enjoy life as a grandmother and freelance writer!

Nancy put in five years at Great Lakes Radio and though that is less tenor than some other GLR staff members, her time here was invaluable. Starting as Head Writer and Sales Support in our Web Department, her followup was to become extremely popular as our Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Managing the daily shopping show sales, people throughout the community got to know Nancy and are sure to miss her as well.

But who will take over for Nancy?

Claiming her place at the front desk, Abbie Ferguson will be the new smiling face at Great Lakes Radio. Abbie has already started to settle in at the office and we are excited to move forward with her as the newest member of our team!
