Marquette, MI  –  September 12, 2015  –  Though we have reached the midpoint of the week, the Peter White Public Library is still pumping out plenty of entertainment through Friday. The 8th Day host Todd Paz talked to returning visitor, Margret Boyle about the weekly schedule.

Ms. Boyle told us this week is packed with movies and music starting with the 1955 classic, “Oklahoma’ on Monday, September 14th. Earlier in the week the library also held showings of “Woman in Gold”, “You’re Not You”, and The Central Park Five.

If you are looking for something to do during the weekday, Peter White still has some good options to come. Thursday, September 17, 2015 the library is hosting a Genealogy Beginner Workshop. As the first session of a three part fall genealogy series, you can learn how to make a family tree, find the best sources for genealogical information, and collect and organize family facts. If you are interested piecing together history on your own family, register at     the reference desk: (906) 226-4312. The workshop will be at 3:00 PM in the Shiras Room on the upper level.
