Recently, I ran into a friend at the grocery store. She was lamenting the fact that she was bored with eating healthy and was at a loss as what she needed to do for dinner. I shared with her what I’m sharing with you here, a quick – low calorie; high energy dish that most people already have the ingredients for.
Take a can of Tuna – drain – unload into a Medium size bowl
Dice 7 – 8 Black Olives – mix in with the Tuna
Dice 2 – 3 Green Onions – Red Onions work too – add to mixture
Pour in two Tablespoons of Crushed Walnut – mix all very well
Add Chopped Cilantro if you like, add a Tablespoon on Lime Juice, and I usually mix in a few healthy drops of Tobasco.
This is good on it’s on or on crackers….about 180 calories total; and very hearty
Enjoy!
