Marquette, MI – April 18, 2018 – By now we’re probably all thinking, “Where is spring?” Usually, we could jump aboard a ferry and head over to Mackinac Island. Due to late ice conditions, Shepler’s Mackinac Island Ferry has announced a delay in ferry season.
While this isn’t the first time the popular ferry system has had to wait to open due to weather, the company does have a tentative open date. Hopefully, the boats will be ready to go in the harbor at Mackinaw City and St. Ignace by Wednesday, April 25th!
Shepler’s released this comment:
“We never want to disappoint our guests and apologize for this change. This is entirely beyond our control and the safety and security of our passengers is our main priority,” stated Billy Shepler, Fleet Captain, who then added, “Can’t wait to go boating!”
If you have any questions, the Shepler’s main offices in both towns are now open daily from 9a – 5p. If you want to connect with Shepler’s give them a call at 800-828-6157 or email email@example.com.
