If you didn’t notice already, RadioShack filed for bankruptcy last month, and started closing stores across the nation. Many saw the bankruptcy as an inevitable result of their competition with Best Buy that even Shaq couldn’t prevent.
More bad news for RadioShack fans came out this week when it was announced that RadioShack is auctioning more than 65 million customer names and physical addresses, and 13 million email addresses collected from customers.
Reports say that Standard General is the winning bidder, but the bankruptcy court must review the deal before it becomes official.
