Ishpeming, MI – October 9, 2014 – Susan Hickman’s bathroom will never be the same! She walked away from the Red Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in Ishpeming with a $12,500 Bathroom Makeover from Mathew’s Floor Fashions, Trudell Plumbing & Heating, Champion Glass in Marquette, and Stone Reflections.
Quarter after quarter, year after year, Great Lakes Radio and its sponsors go all out and put on a great giveaway party with some of the best prizes. From cars to campers to vacations and many other valuable prizes, the goal is to wow and deliver something everybody wants to get in on.
Thursday evening, a massive crowd of invitees and their guests began arriving at about 6:00 p.m. at the Red Rock Lanes and Banquet Center in in Ishpeming. Registration began at 6:30 p.m. and was overseen by Great Lakes Radio contest veterans Dennis and Amy. This year the room was full to capacity – everyone wanted that new bathroom!
Mama Russo’s treated attendees to a home cooked Italian meal. The delicious food, door prizes, and entertainment made sure everyone had a great time.
After dinner, it was time for the toilet bowl toss! Each finalist was given two chances to land a roll of toilet paper in a bowl. Lucky throwers that hit the mark were awarded with a free game of bowling at the Red Rock Lanes. The cherry on the top was that some of the free bowling passes were marked and those with the lucky yellow marks were also given free pizza from the Red Rock Lanes!
This year Great Lakes Radio selected a Royal Registrant: Cliff Johnson visited every sponsor and was an automatic finalist. Six more were selected from among the crowd.
Finally, at the end of the night there were seven lucky finalists, each holding an envelope with prizes from Synergy Fitness, Hoover’s Auto Body, Auto Armor, Classic Carpet Care, HES, and of course our $12,500 Deluxe Bathroom Makeover Package.
