01/24/14- Manistique, Michigan– Carl Johnson the voice of the Negaunee Miners traveled to Manisitque, Michigan tonight on a frosty Friday night, to bring you exciting basketball action as the Negaunee Miners went up against the Manistique Emeralds on Sunny.FM.
The Negaunee Miners won the tip off against the Manistique Emeralds and were the first to put points on the board with 2 good free throws. Halfway through the quarter and the Negaunee Miners led 6-0 against the Manistique Emeralds as both teams struggled to get a field goal on Sunny.FM. The Negaunee Miners closed the quarter in the lead 18-3 against the Manistique Emeralds in Manistique, Michigan.
The Negaunee Miners were first to score in the second quarter with a three point shot to lead 21-3 against the Manistique Emeralds. Midway through the quarter the Negaunee Miner were on fire a led by 23 points against the Manistique Emeralds 29-6. The Negaunee Miners played great defense and finished this quarter with a overwhelming lead 39-9 against the Manistique Emeralds.
