01/16/14 Norway, Michigan– Carl Johnson the voice of the Negaunee Miners traveled to Norway, Michigan tonight with
the Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball team who faced the Norway Knights on Sunny.FM!
The Norway Knights were the first to put points on the board against the Negaunee Miners early in the first quarter. The Negaunee Miners quickly answered back and tied the score 2-2. Halfway through the first quarter and the Negaunee Miners led the Norway Knights 12-2 after a 12-0 run. The Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball had an awesome quarter of play and led the Norway Knights 22-8 to end the first quarter.
The Negaunee Miners are quick to score in the second quarter and gained a 19 point lead against the Norway Knights with a score of 27-8 on Sunny.FM. The Negaunee Miners controlled this quarter and led the Norway Knights 46-15 in Norway, Michigan to end the first half.
The Negaunee Miners led 52-20 against the Norway Knights early in the third quarter. The Negaunee Miners dominated the third quarter and led the Norway Knights 57-24 going into the fourth quarter.
The fourth quarter of this game the Norway Knights were unable to catch the lead of the Negaunee Miners who led early in the quarter 61-27. The Negaunee Miners had an awesome high scoring game against the Norway Knights and won this one 71-39 in Norway, Michigan on Sunny.FM.
