12/30/13 Negaunee, Michigan– Carl Johnson the voice of the Negaunee Miners and Jesse Anderson settled in at home tonight with the Negaunee Miners Girls Basketball team as they took on the Iron Mountain Mountaineers, to bring you exciting basketball action on Sunny.FM!
The Negaunee Miners Girls were the first to score tonight against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers. The Iron Mountain Mountaineers were quick to answer and tied the score 2-2. The lead was shared by both teams throughout the quarter with the Negaunee Miners Girls leading the game against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers 13-7 to end the quarter.
The Negaunee Miners Girls continued to maintain the lead against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers early in the second quarter 16-7. The Negaunee Miners offense was in a great zone and ran away with the lead in the second quarter against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers to finish the first half of the game 33-16.
The Negaunee Miners proved that they were out to win this game against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers and maintained a huge lead 37-18 in the early minutes of the third quarter in Negaunee, Michigan on Sunny.FM. The third quarter of the basketball game ended with the Negaunee Miners Girls leading the Iron Mountain Mountaineers with a dramatic lead of 46-27.
Fourth quarter play kept the Negaunee Miners Girls in the lead against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers throughout the quarter to end the game with a score of 63-38!
