12/06/13 Negaunee, Michigan– Its the second game of the Negaunee Miners
Girls Basketball Season. The Negaunee Miners played at home tonight in Negaunee, Michigan, against the Manistique Emeralds. Carl Johnson the voice of the Negaunee Miners and Jesse Anderson were at home tonight with the Negaunee Miners who took on the Manistique Emeralds on Sunny.FM.
Starting the first quarter the Negaunee Miners scored the first points of the game after making two free throws. Half way through the 1st half the Negaunee Miners lead the Manistique Emeralds 5-2 in Negaunee, Michigan. The Negaunee Miners maintain their lead with a high scoring game 20-3 to end the 1st quarter on Sunny.FM.
The Negaunee Miners defense rallies and increase the lead to 28-7 against the Manistique Emeralds early in the second quarter in Negaunee, Michigan. The first half of the game ends with the Negaunee Miners leading 43-19.
Starting the third quarter from Negaunee, Michigan, the Manistique Emeralds rally back and keep the Negaunee Miners to a score of 43-25. Towards the end of the quarter the Neganuee Miners score and lead the game 45-29 against the Manistique Emeralds. To end the third the Negaunee Miners lead the Manistique Emeralds 45-29 on Sunny.FM.
Fourth quarter action proves to be exciting with the Negaunee Miners maintaining the lead over the Manistique Emeralds 45-29. Halfway through the
fourth quarter the Negaunee Miners hold on the lead over the Manistique Emeralds 49-37 in Negaunee, Michigan. The Negaunee Miners increase their lead against the Manistique Emeralds at the end of the fourth quarter ending the game with a score of 57-41. This makes the first win of the season for the Negaunee Miners!!
