Hearty Soup
What could be better than a hot bowl of soup to warm you up during our long U.P. winter?

Marquette, Michigan  –  November 15, 2013  –  It’s November, it’s cold out, and that can only mean one thing! No, not deer season! I’m talking about SOUP SEASON!

On Wednesday’s edition of the Shopping Show, Great Lakes Radio did a Shout Out to Soup. What a souperb idea!

Major Discount and Walt Lindala invited local restaurants to call in and tell everyone about their restaurant and the featured soups of the day.

Several local restaurants called in to the Shopping Show to talk about their soups of the day and Julia Childs even joined the guys on the show (thanks to her video clips) to talk about her recipe for French Onion Soup! It was a souper show.

We’d like to thank the following businesses for being a part of our Shout Out to Soup Season:

For great deals from local businesses, listen to the Great Lakes Radio Shopping Show LIVE every Wednesday from 9 to 11 am on 101.9 FM. You don’t have to listen to the show to get the savings though, stop by our website at UPBargains.com to see the list of items offered on the show.  You can also call us at 228-6800 or just stop by the radio station from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
