Grand Rapids – August 15, 2013 – Few things in life excite more than Quality. Quality makes us feel valued.
As I think back a couple of decades, some of the best quality items were produced from during the 70’s and 80’s. Even the music back then seemed better.
This certainly applies to vintage Cars, trucks & Motorhomes. Car shows have never been more popular. But at these summer car shows, you really don’t see a 2,002 or a 2,012 model being displayed.
In the 70’s & 80’s, it seemed manufacturing companies just used better materials. It was real manufacturing made with stronger tougher thicker steel and pure aluminum. It seemed like better everything was used. One such company that valued Quality was the Bluebird Coach company.
Bluebird is a high end brand of Class A Motorhome recreational vehicle that was built by Blue Bird Body Company now Blue Bird Corporation in Fort Valley, Georgia, from about 1963 until 2009. Once you hit the open road in a Bluebird you realize not every coach is created equal. For many years the Bluebird was in a separate class of motor homes. It shared the road with other premium brands like Prevost and Newell. Pricing of these RVs, from the 1960s until now, has been comparable with pricing of a medium-sized house.
So do you buy another home or camp on the lake? Do you buy another 100 acres? That land or cottage or camp costs like $200,000 these days.
Why not get the best of both worlds… Consider purchasing a HIGH QUALITY retirement coach for around $60,000 where you can go to the stream, the lake, a camp ground, to visit your friends in Arizona, or to tour Canada and all it’s spectacular places to see.
When you purchase a good coach, like a 1984 Bluebird, you will have a premium vintage piece that was built to outlive you. A 1984 Bluebird will outlive you, and you can pass it on to the kids. My uncle and aunt own one. It’s a rare premium Bluebird coach, which sold new for $400,000, that’s being sacrificed for less than $60,000.
I personally know this piece, and the owners. My aunt Ruth and uncle Ralph Johnson of Ada Michigan are fussy and appreciate the best of quality. Just like you, they demand a lot from a vehicle and a coach. It has to work and work well. After-all, You’ve gotta go and see friends and the grand kids Plus there’s a lot of road out there, and there’s a lot of life left in you.
So are you ready for the Bird? A Bluebird… This coach gets almost as good of millage as my Ford Super-duty 350. This diesel pushes 11mpg.
You know, I heard Bluebird use to hand pick their buyers. I heard they’d even do some background checks to see if you’d take care of such a special baby. But who has $400,000 to drop on a coach? Hmm. I like $54,900 a whole lot better. Would you give Aunt Ruth or Uncle Ralph a call? Dial 616-874-6827
You all ready know the quality of a Bluebird. Purchase this Bluebird and Uncle Ralph might even drive it you? Just present a Certified Check or Money Order. Maybe Uncle Ralph would deliver the coach right to your doorstep.
Here’s the story. This Bluebird has been their baby. But they are in their mid 80’s and just feel like they are to pass the torch. Or give me a call Todd Noordyk at 906-361-3325. I can vouch for this unit and would be happy to talk to you about specifics.
