The first day of The 19th annual Marquette Blues Fest was a huge success!
Cory Dennison and Friends tore it up with some blues and funk jams. They literally got everyone on their feet! Many folks hit the dance floor and got groovin’. The Steepwater Band went on right after them and kept everyone moving and shuffling. The Steepwater Band played a little more rockin’ blues. What a blessing of a day out in Lower Mattson Park. The sunset was, of course, magnificent, and the general mood of all of the patrons was so positive!
Hopefully, you all went to the Ore Dock Brewing Co. afterwards, and jammed out to the Organgrinders Blues Band! They put on a serious show! The legendary ‘Bones’ from the U.P. even got up on stage, and joined in the exquisite showcase of the blues!
