Marquette, MI – November 19, 2021 – Join us next week, November 23rd, at the Marquette Township Tree Lighting Ceremony in the Westwood Mall Parking lot. Every year the township hosts a tree lighting ceremony and this year is expected to be a hoot! The event starts at 6 pm and will feature a performance by the students at the Studio Dance Arts school, and will move inside the Westwood Mall for food, snacks, and time with Santa!
Marquette Township shared a teaser of the tree lighting early this morning with TV6 News. You can see the interview with Tia Trudgeon and Todd Nordyk below. They featured the 35ft Christmas Tree and shared more about this exciting community event.
The Grinch is up to no good this year, just the same as always! Join us at the Tree Lighting Ceremony to support Santa at the tree lighting ceremony as he stops the Grinch. Sunny will be keeping track of the Grinch through out the day, with Mark & Walt emceeing the event in the evening.
