It was still sprinkling, but that didn’t stop Bumpus!
Marquette, MI – August 27, 2021 – Today was the first day of HarborFest 2021, sponsored & organized by Marquette West Rotary! A great number of people came down to Mattson Lower Harbor Park despite the rain for some awesome live music, good food & drink, and fun!
Today’s festivities started out slow due to the weather, but there was a beer & wine tent serving beer, wine & seltzers from Keweenaw Brewing Company, Oredock Brewing Company, Labatt, and White Claw, so there was something for every adult!
Outlaw’d was awesome!
There were delicious food vendors scattered about including Rolling Smoke selling delicious barbecue Smelted Pizza, The Island, and Kettle Korn!
Of course the main attraction, the live music was a roaring success! Tuesday Jones, a classic rock & blues band from Marquette, opened the musical night. Outlaw’d followed after, they’re a rowdy country band from Houghton! To close out the night was Bumpus, a high-octane musical funk frenzy from Chicago!
There’s still a chance to come by HarborFest at Lower Harbor Park in Marquette tomorrow Saturday, August 28th. Admission is free! There’s more live music and even a 5K run and Classic Car Show! Activities start bright and early at 9am.
