Marquette, MI – August 25, 2021 – HarborFest 2021 is just around the corner! Taking place at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette, you won’t want to miss this! Live music, good food, delicious adult beverages, and kids activities calls for a fun-filled weekend for the entire family!
There will be seven live bands throughout the weekend! Friday features Tuesday Jones, a classic rock band from Marquette, Outlaw’d, a rowdy country band from Houghton, and Bumpus, a high-octane musical funk frenzy from Chicago. On Saturday Beechgrove & Blacksmith, DayDreamers, Iron Daisy, and Jovi will be playing!
Saturday will be an all-day event including the Moose on the Loose 5K Run at 9 am, and the Classic Car Show at 11 am, as well as a brief performance by then NMU Marching Band at 1:15 pm. HarborFest is a fundraising event organized by Marquette West Rotary Club and the Marquette West Rotary Foundation. Started in 1984, this will be its big, post-pandemic comeback. Since 1984, the Foundation has awarded over $700,000 in grants to non-profit organizations throughout the area.
