mediaBrew Communications Celebrates the 4th of July and Food Fest

Marquette, MI – July 4, 2021 – We finally got to celebrate the Fourth of July with the community this year!  The Marquette streets were packed with people ready to watch the parade.  As the parade floats wound their way through the busy streets, candy, koozies, necklaces, and other knick-knacks were tossed into the crowds.

There were police cars, fire trucks, and even a Coast Guard boat!  The Northern Michigan University President Fritz Erickson was also waving into the crowds.

There were many great-looking floats including fun floats from The Man Cave, The Marquette Elks, and Edge of Reality.   The 2021 Miss Upper Peninsula was there too!  We couldn’t be happier about the Independence Day festivities being back in place.  If you missed Ishpeming’s celebrations, check out our post on yesterday’s parade here.

Food Fest was also back in full swing this year at Mattson Lower Harbor; the mediaBrew Communications team was at the beer tent and helping get the beer to the people!  Our very own Walt Lindala and his band the Flat Broke Blues Band played live and ended the day of food and music before the fireworks.  Check out pictures of the Marquette fireworks here!

We couldn’t be more excited about the fact that these summer festivities are back.  Keep an eye out for our post on next week’s Pioneer Day parade and fireworks!  Happy 4th of July!
