Marquette – 01/12/12 – St. Michael’s Parish Center will host a seminar presented by the United Cerebral Palsey of Michigan. Ross W. Johnson, working with Sara Menzel, ATP, Manager of Marquette’s, Upper Peninsula Assistive Technology Center will demonstrate various types of computer soft and hardware that is patient specific in Marquette schools that assist students in their learning processes.
Johnson, interested in applications that process text to speech usage, has coordinated this seminar as a project toward earning his rank as an Eagle Scout.
St. Michael’s is located 401 West Kaye Ave. The seminar is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, January 17th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Teachers, parents, caregivers, students and the general public are all welcomed to attend.
