U.P. Regional Labor Federation Presenting 31st Annual Labor Day Event

Marquette, MI – September 4, 2020 – The Upper Peninsula Regional Labor Federation is hosting this year’s Labor Day celebrations online. Alex Gustafson, UPRLF Delegate and Tony Ghiranghelli, Chair of the Labor Day Festival, joined Mark & Walt in the Morning with the details.

They explained that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, they are holding the Labor Day Festival on FaceBook Live this year.

Ghiranghelli said the event will follow the same usual the format and starts at 11:00 am on Monday, September 7th, Labor Day. Gustafson said the activities will include a video of previous parades and festivals, and speakers as previous years when held in Ishpeming and Marquette.

They encouraged everyone to join in the celebration of American Workers this Labor Day.
