Marquette, MI – (04/03/20) – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow joined Mark & Walt in the Morning today to share an update on the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security, or CARES, Act. Stabenow explained how the measure will help Michigan families, workers and businesses during the national coronavirus crisis.
Stabenow outlined some of the key points of the legislation, including how it provides critical funding for hospitals and health care providers during the COVID-19 pandemic. She also shared how it expands unemployment insurance and provides direct payments to Americans.
She also noted how select provisions of the act supports Michigan businesses, both large and small, and their employees.
