Marquette, MI – (mediaBrew Communications) – The effort to gather new and gently-used winter clothes to keep kids warm in our area is in the home stretch this week in Western Marquette County.
Organizer of Project: Keep Kids Warm, Dick Derby with the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Ishpeming, joined Mark and Walt in the Morning today to remind folks in that end of the county to gather up the clothes items they want to give to the effort.
He explained the whole process and how it will work with drop off boxes in several locations around western Marquette County, and then the clothing being picked up this week.
Derby also explained that the winter clothes will be available to those families in need on this coming Saturday from 9:00am to Noon at the Ishpeming Armory.
